Englewood Codes!

Englewood Codes is a 10-week summer project where youth learn how to design, build and maintain their own multimedia websites. Through hands-on instruction, individual activities and group projects, students will learn how to code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript while appropriating skills needed for success in college, careers and entreprepneurship. At the end of the summer, participants will showcase their websites to family, friends and mentors during a final "Demo Day" event.
Eligibilty
Students attending a Chicago Public Schools high school for the 2013-2014 academic year are eligible to apply. Priority will be giving to students who live in the Englewood and West Englewood community areas.
How to Apply
- Complete the Englewood Codes application online at Teamwork Englewood's website
- Register with After School Matters and select Englewood Codes as one of your program choices.
- Upon receipt of your completed application Teamwork Englewood staff will contact you to schedule an interview.
Deadline is June 14 the 2013.
