5k Summer Dash to Mpower Community Schools
Get ready, get set for the 5K Summer Dash to Empower Community Schools! Metropolitan Family Services Midway Center is hosting its fourth annual 5K event on June 16, 2018 at Marquette Park in Chicago. The course is USATF certified and is secured entirely within the confines of the park.
The race starts and finishes at 6743 S. Kedzie; the start time is 8:00 a.m. and check in is from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. Following the race, participants are invited to food, beverage and family fun.
The event is open to all ages and types of runners. Families are encouraged to run together including children in strollers. Feel free to RUN or WALK. Prizes will be awarded to overall top finishers in various age categories.
Proceeds go to support Metropolitan Family Services, Midway Center Community Schools Program and the participating 13 schools.
