Registration for Winter Break Activities Open Now with Chicago City of Learning
Published: December 11, 2013
Young Chicago learners can break out from the routine during winter break this year with Mayor Emanuel’s Winter Adventure passport and Chicago City of Learning, which challenge them to learn new things.
The Winter Adventure Passport is available online or at local libraries. Learners who complete any three City of Learning activities with their passport will be eligible to win prizes, from event tickets to iPad Minis. Reward raffles will be drawn at “Destination Chicago”—a festival of doing and making for all ages to be held at the DePaul Downtown Campus at 1 East Jackson from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18.
Explore our city’s many neighborhoods. Discover other worlds at the Chicago History Museum. Learn something new at a Chicago Public Library. Connect with friends at one of Chicago Park District’s ice rinks. Create something unique online. Earn digital badges to show off new skills.
Designed for youth ages 4 -24, all Winter Adventure Passport activities are free or low-cost. Explore Chicago. Discover your future. For a full list of winter break activities visit explorechi.org.
