The Center for Community Arts Partnership at Columbia College Chicago Presents M.U.G.A.B.E.E. - transuniversol liberation music
M.U.G.A.B.E.E. (moo-ga-bee), or Men Under Guidance Acting Before Early Extinction, has been working in community and on stage since 1994. They are artists, poets and musicians who combine artistic genres into songs of hip hop, jazz, spoken word, as well as, rhythm and blues, rap, soul, reggae, and classical. M.U.G.A.B.E.E. has been working in communities across the South in the form of residencies, workshops, performances and lectures.
