PAWS for Life Volunteer Training
Published: April 21, 2019
Want to help pets and people? Join the PAWS for Life volunteer team! Our volunteers make it possible for us to reach families in Englewood and Back of the Yards, provide information on spay/neuter, and connect families with resources to care for their pets.
As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you will join our team in going door-to-door in Englewood or Back of the Yards, developing relationships with pet owners and helping them with services for their pets. You'll also be able to work at Spay/Neuter events directly in the community, pass out food and other pet supplies at our Pet Food Pantries in Englewood, and provide needed vaccines at our Community Day events.
Volunteering with PAWS for Life is an incredible way to make instant connections with community members over a common love of pets. To get started, please attend our PAWS for Life volunteer training on Saturday, May 4 from 10am - 12noon at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church (6458 S. Peoria).
Questions? Call Katie Cozzens at 773-475-9408 or email kcozzens@pawschicago.org.
We can't wait for you to join our volunteer team!
