MoneyLYFE is Going to Aspen

Lindblom Math and Science Academy's Aspen Challenge Team, MoneyLYFE, was one of the three schools to win the Aspen Challenge which is a competitiion between 20 CPS high schools to solve a problem in the school's community. Eight LMSA students chose a challenge focusing on financial literacy. They held bank fairs, taught a financial lesson at Earle STEM Academy, and partnered with various Englewood community organizations. Congrats to Gabriela Morales, Qiama Williams, Chima Aharanwa, Alexis Smith, Samuel Mesa, Zachary Robbins, and Coach Gina Caneva. They won an all expenses paid trip to Aspen, Colorado this summer and will present their colution to a world'wide stage at the Aspen Ideas Festival. MoneyLYFE will continue to operate and is welcoming appointments for teaching about finance, creating commercials for community events, and hosting bank fairs on its website.
