On Saturday, February 11th this organization finally posted its banner. This 3-year old nonprofit has been servicing Englewood community members by offering tutoring, adult education courses and teen employment to help the underserved and undereducated in the areas of math, finance and technology. Home of the exclusive, Social Innovation Program- an extremely popular teen anti-violence, technology employment program- Each One Teach One Literacy finally raised its official sign so the community can easily find its doors.
Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm.
The organization is currently looking for dedicated, spirited and intelligent tutors for their After-School Youth Tutoring programs offered in Englewood, 6720 South Stewart Ave, Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:30pm – 5:30pm; and, in West Pullman at Universal Family Connection, 1350 West 103rd St, 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Because they strongly believe that assisting the younger population with academic struggles benefits the entire community, tutors are asked to volunteer their time to one child who needs assistance to allow their academic light to shine.
We put our sign up so that you may sign up... to help others.
