Digital Technology Class Graduation

The first week of June 2011, I was calling around trying to find a computer class. I eventually called Beautiful Zion Church located on 64th and Loomis.  They gave me the name and number to  Teamwork Englewood. I first talked with Miss. Rosalind, who told me about the computer classes being held at Kennedy King College.  The time I picked was 6pm to 8pm on Fridays. I started the same week.

When I came to class I met Mr. Drummer the instructor, I was registered , signed in , and given a workbook.  Immediately I knew that this was the place to be... Mr. Drummer is so passionate and knowledgeable. He just does'nt teach, he interacts with the class and with you individually. The information and instructions he gives is so easily retainable. I found, and still find it to be a new and enjoyable experience each and every time I come. It is so good that I rearranged my work schedule to make sure I attend these classes...The freedom of attending these classes,  allows you to plan your schedule around your lifestyle...

After each session  you are given a test, you also get to keep and take home your workbook. " WHO DOES THAT" The program is so amazing, and keeps getting better. Each time I come its a new beginning, a new experience. I'm in my sixties, but I'm a better, smarter, knowledgeable Woman. The graduation was so special... The day before I had to come to Teamwork Englewood  to fill out some important paperwork. Miss Rosalind had called me several times to make sure I come. She did'nt know that I was at work, she persisted anyway. "WHAT DEDICATON" she showed me that she cared about me...

When I got to U.S Bank the lobby was gorgeous and spacious. I took the elevator to the 2nd. floor, to Teamwork Englewood, talking about first impressions. The office is beautifully arranged, great energy.  In a see through Conference room, I saw the Englewood Knights of the round table, they were so involved with whatever project they were doing . I was greeted by Miss. Rosalind, and Mr. Drummer. They gave me the papers and a sample of how I to fill them out. They made sure it was done correctly. They went over them with a fine tooth comb.

The evening of the Graduation. I got there about 3:45 pm The graduates waited outside the cafeteria.  We were greeted, and was told it would be a short wait. As the line got longer , I marveled at the attendance of so many people in this program. When we started going in the cafeteria to be seated. our id"s were checked and we were given an HP Netbook, after all were seated Mr Brian Powers did an amazing job instructing us step by step of how to use and take care of or Netbook. He took his time for about an hour and a half "That's Caring Dedication".

The Instructors and the people on the Board set up the food and everything for us. While Mr. Powers was instructing us, the Instructors, Board members, and others did hands on help with us individually. Then they all set up our food. With a special touch of love and humility they served it to us. We formed two lines and they served us individually...

It keeps getting better... I want to give an extra special Thanks to Miss.Rosalind, and Miss Dionne Baux they are absolutely gorgoeus, like I was looking in a mirror"that's my story and I am sticking to it" To Mr. Drummer an awesome instuctor... Mr. Brian Powers.... and also Mr. Clarence Hogan also an amazing instructor. Whatever class I am in... I have a seat... So don't try to sit in it....

Sincerely,

Bobbi Ozia
