The community is invited to have refreshments and hear about Resident Association of Greater Englewood's current projects, relevant community news and connect with others at their last bi-monthly Village Meeting, Tuesday, November 21, 2017. All residents and visitors are welcome to the meeting from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson College Prep at 6350 S. Stewart.
Topics will include the Chicago Neighborhood Rebuild Pilot Program, the 2FM Project , R.A.G.E. updates and more. Alderman Sawyer is on the agenda to discuss the new facility the Department of Fleet and Facility Management, known as 2FM, plans to build in Englewood. Grow Greater Englewood will present updates on the progress of the Englewood Line and their new project regarding Englewood community farmers. Grow Greater Englewood works with developers and residents to create sustainable, food economies and green businesses for improved community wellness.
