In April 2015, residents and stakeholders met to celebrate a decade of accomplishments at the 10th Anniversary of the 2005 Englewood Quality of Life Plan. In January 2016 the community began convenings to draft an updated version of the plan for the Greater Englewood community. Five task forces were formed to a address the issue areas deemed most important to the community. Task force early action projects were implemented over the summer of 2016. The summit gathering will be the reveiw of those early action projects as well as the beginning of the next phase of implementation.
We invite all residents and interested stakeholders to attend.
We will be annoucning a brand new apparutus for funding future proejcts as well as our guest speaker Asisaha Butler of the Resident Assocaiton of Greater Englewood will share her passion in centering residents of Englewood in the next phases of development.
The Englewood Quality of Life Action Summit, will be on Nov, 12th at Lindblom Highschool 6130 S. Wolcott from 10am-1pm.
