Kennedy King College's Wellness Center promotes psychological wellness by supporting and empowering KKC students, faculty, staff, and their families. The Wellness Center offers confidential individual, group, and crisis counseling; psychological assessments; referral services; and educational programs.
You can call for an appointment (773.602.5280) or just walk in to talk to us right away. The Wellness Center also sponsors many groups that help you to choose solutions for many common life challenges, such as anger management, test anxiety, and parenting. Please stop by, email, or call us to learn about our current groups.
Psychological Evaluation: IQ, personality, well-being, achievement, and mood. Evaluations include a mixture of interviews, activities and other exercises to measure different aspects of your well-being and needs. This could help you get assistance for your classes, help you or a family member obtain needed benefits, or lead to a plan to meet other common life challenges. You are welcome to stop by and explore how we can help!
Referrals
We offer referrals for free STD and HIV testing, housing assistance, food stamps, financial assistance and parenting classes. We are constantly adding to our referral base. Please call, email or stop by to see if we can connect you to the resource you need.
