Englewood Parent Workshop - Internet Safety

See bigger map

This workshop will explore helpful tips for parents monitoring internet activity for their children and identify potential online dangers. The Internet can be a wonderful resource for students. They can use it to research school reports, communicate with teachers and other students, and play interactive games. Students who are old enough to punch in a few letters on the keyboard can literally access the world, but that access can also pose hazards. Parents should development some best practices to assure online safety.

All Englewood parents, guardians, grandparents, community leaders are welcome to attend any of the workshops included in the Englewood Parent Empowerment Series which is brought to you by the Englewood Community Action Council (CAC). We welcome you to invite a friend or neighbor and strongly encourages all LSC and PAC members to attend or schedule a workshop at their respective schools.

If you are interested in hosting or offering a workshop or wish to register contact Brenda J. Bell at bjbell1@cps.k12.il.us or (773) 553-1538. Advanced Registration is recommended as space is limited.
