Chicago’s 2012 Teen Girls & Women’s Health Day
On March 10, 2012 FAM Entertainment Theater Company will participate in a free day of workshops aiming to empower 1200 teen girls and women to “Break the Cycle” of destructive behaviors. Together we will take action and encourage teen girls and women to keep difficult topics such as: sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS in the teen girls, teen dating violence, domestic violence, low self-esteem and overall teen girl and women’s health in the forefront of the community. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m.
Goals
Our goal is to collaborate to facilitate more conventional information and education to participating students, educators, peer health facilitators and parents thus stream lining maximum execution of prevention to their partners, schools and family members.
Solution
We will orchestrate an open exchange of dialogue as well as make recommendations of selected available services by partnering with organizations that will bring about a renewal of the mind for many partakers. This approach will motivate the key and most vulnerable populations; raise people’s interest and spark curiosity in gaining more information.
