FAM Entertainment Theater company, NFP has joined Shoya Bowman, author of “Goodbye Don’t Always Mean Gone” in taking action against domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. On MARCH 9th and March 10th 2012, The stage production “Love’s got a hold on me” will be showcased in honor of Women’s History Month as well as National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), where theater goers will visualize the trickle down effect of various abuses including: substance, sexual and physical that ultimately brings otherwise tight relationships to a halt.
There is no secret that an open exchange of dialogue regarding domestic violence remains a guarded topic. FAM Entertainment Theater Company’s goal is to incorporate drama with more conventional information, education, and communication, bringing toxic relationship behaviors to the forefront of our community while empowering women and teen girls.FAM Entertainment Theater Company focuses on achievement and motivation through entertainment. Their programs offer individual artists the opportunity to gain exposure by illustrating their educational and societal viewpoints to innovate the minds of others.
FAM realizes that “we must rid the idea in the community of “Something Special to Do” into “This is our way of life for improvement.”
