Pathways to Capital for Black Entrepreneurs
With the support of Chicago Community Trust, the Resident Association of Greater Englewood (RAGE) teams up with Harvard Business School Professor and Englewood native, Steven Rogers to host Pathways to Capital for Black Entrepreneurs. Prof. Rogers will provide Black Business owners who has been operating for at least 2 years, with an in-depth financial learning experience that will guide business owners on the pathway to capital. Professor Steven Rogers was recently featured in the must see PBS documentary, BOSS: The Black Experience in Business, and currently teaches Entrepreneurial Finance and a new course titled Black Business Leaders and Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. He is a award-winning speaker, and author of best seller book, Entrepreneurial Finance.
Prior to teaching at Harvard Business School, Professor Rogers taught in the MBA program at the Kellogg School of Management and the Northwestern University PhD program. During this session attendees will learn in great detail on how to grow their businesses financially, receive a complimentary breakfast and an exclusive directory of investors for black businesses.
