Athletes Know CPR Basketball Jam Classic

Come out and join Advocate Trinity Hospital for an afternoon of basketball, music and free CPR training at the Athletes Know CPR Basketball Jam Classic on Sunday, November 11 from noon to 3 pm, at Mt. Carmel High School, 6410 S. Dante Ave., in Chicago.

During this event, Advocate Trinity Hospital team members – including the hospital’s newly appointed president, Rashard Johnson – will scrimmage against Chicago Park District's Foster Park’s pick-up basketball community and first responders representing Chicago’s Police and Fire Departments. Also, specially-trained nurses will offer hands-on CPR training to community members, using life-sized mannequins. Educational information about heart health, stroke and diabetes as well as opportunities to interact with hospital staff will also be available during this event.

Men, women and teens – anyone who is interested in learning more about CPR and heart disease – are invited to attend this free community event. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
