After learning about the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, residents were scrambling to get information on lead, and what they can do about it. Given recent headlines in area media outlets, Access Community Health Network wants to empower community residents and provide important information on what lead exposure means for you and your loved ones. ACCESS has asked local experts from Northwestern University and the Chicago Department of Public Health to join us and provide practical advice on what you need to know and what you can do to act now.
There will be free lead testing kits and light refreshments provided.
