- Monika would like this class to have a member of each decade in their life (i.e. 0-10, 10-20, etc). Therefore, signup is first come, first served within these parameters. There will be a wait list.

About the Re:Center Artists in Residence at Hamilton Park Cultural Center
JoVonna Jackson will facilitate an introductory ceramics workshops series, where participants will learn three methods to ceramics hand building. The goal is to create a safe and respectful and creative environment while learning to use sculpting tools and making creations. Participants will create a set of dishware that will be used at a culminating event, where families and community members will enjoy a meal on the artists' creations. This project will work in collaboration with Monika Neuland’s concurrent residency at Hamilton.
Monika Neuland will facilitate an ongoing iteration of The Social Fiber Project, a mobile community textile studio. This project will be a communal weaving opportunity at Hamilton that culminates in a shared meal with all of the stakeholders that is eaten on placemats and table runners woven during the project. This project will work in collaboration with JoVonna Jackson's concurrent residency at Hamilton. www.facebook.com/socialfiberproject/
