PAWS for Life Englewood Community Day

Join PAWS Chicago for the inaugural PAWS for Life Englewood Community Day aimed to celebrate pets and build relationships with local pet owners. In a neighborhood of 37,000 people, an estimated 25,000 pets receive no veterinary care or pet wellness resources in the community. PAWS for Life is working to change that by directly offering pet care resources to residents – today and every day through the program’s door-to-door outreach efforts.
At the PAWS for Life Englewood Community Day, Englewood residents will receive free rabies and distemper vaccinations for their pets, PAWS for Life volunteers will raise awareness about the importance of spay/neuter and help animal lovers with medical and behavioral questions.
The Community Day compliments PAWS for Life’s daily door-to-door outreach efforts in Englewood. By going block by block and meeting community members where they live, PAWS for Life provides pet wellness and spay/neuter resources and transportation so pet owners can keep pets in their homes and neighborhoods see a reduction in pet overpopulation.
