On The Table - Changing the Way We View Philanthropy in Englewood
See bigger map
On May 12th a very special resident led edition of "On the Table" will be taking place in Englewood, Chicago and we need you there.
Why?
We think you have a voice that can provide feedback and information and understanding about how philanthropy efforts can best be used in partnership with current community assets (residents, businesses, non profits, etc.) to bring about more effective and lasting change in people’s lives which is the true purpose of charitable giving.
Sonya Harper of Grow Greater Englewood & Aysha Butler of R.A.G.E. (Resident Association of Greater Englewood) do not wish to talk about ways to give specifically to our community or efforts, we only seek to have a broader conversation and understanding of the perception and current relationships that philanthropists have about communities similar to Englewood, and what can be done to improve upon those perceptions and relationships.
Please respond by emailing sonya.harper@gmail.com whether you will or will not be able to attend our on the table conversation on May 12th.
Thank you,
In solidarity,
Sonya Harper and Aysha Butler
