Greater Englewood Unity Day Clean Up Meeting

Is that time of year again to get our hands dirty for the Greater Englewood Unity Day in connection with Chicago's Clean and Green Volunteer Clean Up on April 18, 2015.
There will be a meeting about the Unity Day Cleanup on Friday April 10th at 11am at Dream Cafe, 748 W 61st Street.
The deadline to order cleanup tools is Friday, April 10th. Call 3-1-1 for more information or to place an order for your site/block.
Unity Day is open to all entities and people who want to help clean up and promote neighborhood pride and unity!
Those who are participating this year will be asked to:
1) confirm their commitment to participate in Unity Day by sending an email to: sonya@ggechicago.org
2) pick out your clean up location(s) and sites (West Englewood and Englewood) or ask to be assigned to one
3) state what items you can donate or have donated on your behalf (We usually need t-shirts, bottled water, gloves, trash bags , celebration refreshments and a DJ)
4) state an estimate of the number of volunteers you can provide or the number of volunteers you need
5) make a commitment help with neighbor outreach in preparation for this event
