WE DOUBLE LINK PURCHASES UP TO $25! The 61st Street Farmers Market takes place every second Saturday during the winter—snow or shine—from January to April, from 9am-2pm. The outdoor begins May 16th, 2015 and runs until the end of October. The Market is located on 61st Street between Dorchester and Blackstone Avenues. In February, March, and April the Market goes indoors at the Experimental Station. Entry is on Blackstone Avenue.
The 61st Street Farmers Market accepts LINK and Senior Farmers Market Coupons. We also match LINK purchases up to $25 per cardholder, per market day, as long as funding lasts. This means that LINK cardholders can double the value of their LINK purchases each week at the Market.
Southside Diabetes will be on site to offer free market money for participants. Chef tastings with seasonal ingredients will take place between 10:30am and 11:00am (times may vary depending on availability).
At the market you can expect to find: fruits, veggies, bread, eggs, cheese, meats, salumi, baked goods, baby greens and lettuces. As well as prepared seasonal food, veggie burgers, soups, fresh pasta, preserves, honey, cider, salsa, sauces, and crepes.
